Our Story
Thelo (I want) Greek is an open scratch kitchen with 30 seats in a cozy Greek taverna setting that mimics taverns in Greece with intimate wamth & ambiance.
Our menu & flavors are personal, based on my origins, the formative years growing up in Greece, travels, exposure to international foods & the great chefs in my US restaurants.
The menu includes my interpetation of regional dishes alongside the unparalleled Greek street food. Note that our prices are based on the quality of the ingredients we use & not what the market will bear commited to a 4 Star Value

Growing & prospering during COVID only happened due to the support of our nearby community. Having owned restaurants for over 5 decades the last 4 years have proved that unexpected events affect daily life including forcing major upheaval in the culinary field. Fortunately for us, the strong support & the continuous references allowed Thelo to exist.
The menu is a fusion of Greek street food alongside regional specialties that represent my taste which is based on my Greek origins, upbringing, travels & the great chefs who worked for me. The open kitchen not only adds aroma, plus its ambiance-- also transforms the dinners into guests & eventually friends.
Looking forward to our 5th year of operations, we are adding more Greek color & flare to our interior plus additional mezethes (appetizers) alongside a 4-star value wine & beer selection that reflects a traditional Greek meal gathering.

In ancient Greece their LOVE of great wine & life, enjoyment was culminated by designating & celebrating the God Dionysus, patron of wine, pleasure & festivity. He's also associated with fertility, grape harvest, winemaking & ecstasy… all the good things in life.
He was a son of Zeus, king of the gods & Semele, a mortal princess in Greek myothology. Although he's one of the gods who sits on Mount Olympus, Dionysus is actually a demigod …just like what all of us aspire to be considered …. Based on the above & adding that Greek Food with a glass of wine is one of life’s ultimate pleasures, it becomes natural for us to make eating at Thelo ~ a typical and wonderfully fulfilling Greek experience adding wine and food specials.
